What we collect

When you submit a form (contact, mailing list, application, workshop booking, or competition entry), we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, and message. Competition entries may include an uploaded file.

When you place an order, we collect your name, email, phone number, shipping address, and order details. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.

Shopping cart — Your cart contents are stored in your browser's local storage (not on our servers). This data stays on your device and is cleared when you complete an order or clear your browser data.

Automatically, our web host (Firebase) collects basic log data (such as IP addresses and browser type) to keep the site secure and functional. We do not access or analyze this data.

How we use your data

• To respond to your inquiries and form submissions
• To process and fulfill your orders
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and refund notices
• To send ExaPlex updates if you subscribe to our mailing list

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.

Cookies and local storage

We use one cookie (exaPlexPremium) to remember your license code. It expires after one year. You can delete it anytime by clearing your browser cookies.

We also use browser local storage to remember your shopping cart between visits. This data is stored only on your device — it is never sent to our servers until you proceed to checkout.

Stripe may set its own cookies during checkout.

Data retention

• Form submissions — retained as long as necessary to address your inquiry or fulfill your request

• Mailing list — retained until you unsubscribe or request removal

Children's privacy

ExaPlex products are intended for users aged 14 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your rights

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. Contact us and we'll help.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of the site means you accept any changes.
